Phase

Wow.

I just found out a childhood friend,

is pregnant and almost due for delivery.

This is like another phase of life,

that hardly ever cross my mind.

Am I old or what?

Hah.

But really,

I don't feel my age.

Nor the need and urgency,

to hurry to that stage.

Though it's always nice,

to have someone to cuddle up to.

Sigh...

Life's complicated, isn't it? :)
